"Water Lilies bloom in a wide variety of colors and sizes. My personal favorite is the 'Lotus' which by day unfurls into an elegant flower beneath the warm rays of the sun before closing into a tight, pointed cone at nightfall. I call this piece, 'Lotus' because it reminds me of the tranquility and the form of the most elegant, radiant and special of the water lilies. Enjoy."

"I enjoy sitting in my garden in the afternoons with my cup of English tea, a part of my California lifestyle that is a nod to my English upbringing. In my garden, I have created a tropical oasis of water ponds, beautiful plants, frogs and other creatures. One summer afternoon, I watched one of my frogs stalking a ladybug crawling up a lily stem. The ladybug flew away just in time! I call this piece, 'Lily.' Enjoy."
