DHARAMSALA, INDIA Tempe decided to leave Tibet inorder to continue his religious training. He had been in Dharamsala about a month and was actually planning to begin a life-long solitary retreat the day after this photo was taken. He said his retreat was not to escape from the world but to transform his mind so he could serve more effectively in future lifetimes.
