Zarim, 65+
Besham, Pakistan Zarim has been an onion farmer his entire life. Unlike many farmers in the south of Pakistan, Zarim owns the land he farms. Although he is considered fairly wealthy because he owns four water buffalo, he says there are some years that he does not make any money and he can barely support his expanding family. Zarim has four boys two girls and four grandchildren and had just married a 37 year-old woman as a second wife.
