David Patchen - Creating the Hand-Blown Glass

Flattening the piece

When the piece is reheated and moving the right amount, I flatten it using cork paddles. Since the piece is moving, after I flatten it Steve flips it over, I flatten it again and so on until I'm satisfied with the shape.
